The game is based around an arena that looks rather like the Coliseum. You'll see a flag flying, a door that we guess leads into the arena, and various weapons and gold coins. There isn't much to the background, although the controls underneath the reels are set onto stone pillars.

What to expect when you play the Gladiator slot

Let's get some basics down first, shall we? This game has five reels to start spinning, with three symbols showing up on every reel. There are no jackpots involved other than the prizes on the paytable.

The princess is a wild symbol in this game. She's unusual because she appears as a regular wild in most positions on the reels. However, if she turns up in the uppermost position on any of the reels, she casts petals over the spaces below on that same reel. This gives you a wild reel and awards a multiplier worth 2x for anything won.

There is another smashing wild involved too - literally, in this case. The Gladiator himself may appear during play, but if this happens on the middle reel, that entire reel will be covered in marble. He then breaks up the marble to give you an expanded wild. Wins aren't assured here, but there is a better chance of potentially getting something.
